Manulife VRSP is a step closer to becoming reality - are you ready?

Manulife has been approved as a Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan (VRSP) administrator by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) – a critical milestone in our mission to offer Quebec employers a brand-new, easy and affordable workplace savings plan, designed with the needs of small businesses in mind.

With this bridge crossed, we are now focused on obtaining product approval from the Régie des rentes du Québec. Once that takes place, and the VRSP legislation officially takes effect on July 1, 2014, you will be able to purchase Manulife’s VRSP and provide your employees a means to save for their retirement.

Given implementing a workplace savings plan will be mandatory for thousands of small businesses in Quebec over the next few years, now is the time to familiarize yourself with the VRSP legislation and find out how the plan can benefit you.
